President - Safdar Khan
Safdar Khan has a post graduate degree from SUNY Maritime College, Fort Schuyler, New York. He also completed courses in Marine Insurance and Ocean Marine Cargo Loss Adjusting.
Safdar holds a Chief Mate license for unlimited tonnage and sailed on ocean going vessels from 1980 to 1991. In addition, he served as Master on coastal vessels. Since 1991 he has been a marine surveyor and consultant. He is a member of the National Association of Marine Surveyors (NAMS).
During his career as a marine surveyor, Safdar handled several dry bulk commodities such as steel products, grains, machinery, perishables and refrigerated cargoes. He developed expertise on various fruit and perishable produce. Safdar has been retained by various maritime law firms as an expert witness in matters of perishable commodities. He also acted as Port Captain for major reefer carriers.
